Sunshine
No quilt about life near the beach and our Australian way of life would be complete without some sunshine! Very strange suns but fun to stitch. Straight stitches and colonial knots.
The suns look great - the top one especially has a sort of aboriginal art feel to it which makes them fit in so well with the quilt's theme. The gum tree leaf is amazing!
oh i especially love that green and yellow sun. and a spiral leaf...have never seen that before.
