I dropped my camera on a rocky path at Uluru and cracked the screen. I could still take photos using the viewfinder but couldn't see anything on the screen. After a bit of research I decided it was cheaper to get the screen fixed than to buy a new camera. (Both options expensive!) So, no camera for a couple of weeks. I miss it already! These are a couple of photos from our little holiday. Beautiful ghost gums in the courtyard of the hotel and a lizard seen on one of our walks. He was about 12 inches long. He's disguised quite well on the leaf litter.
I so miss Australia's lizards. I have found that a small skink lives in my vege garden here and that comforts me a little! I love ghost gums too :)
