The Blue Wren is in the garden every day with his lady friend, showing off his courting colours! So today I took a bundle of thread ends (too short to use for stitching) and spread them around in some bushes. Nice to think they may make a cosy lining for a nest.
What a gorgeous bird! I saw a similar idea in a magazine recently where they filled a hanging basket with nesting materials. Such a sweet thought.
